Based on John Bevere’s book of the same name, there is a secret place where there is assured liberty, provision, and protection. Yet many people do not enjoy these benefits and instead, due to ignorance, they seek freedom and security outside of it. This course exposes subtle yet rampant tactics that the enemy uses to pull believers away from God’s shelter.

Meet Frank & Bernice DeNike
The following is a summary from Frank DeNike, who with his wife Bernice serve in Mexico, Uganda and Kenya. They recently received their doctoral degrees from CTS. This is a list of recent events:
This is a list of the schools that we are presently operating in Kenya and Uganda, in partnership with Bishop Zephaniah Orao, his wife Mary and Timothy Ouma who is our school coordinator and only paid staff.

We have equipment for one more school which has not yet been determined. Most rural areas do not have electricity so we have to purchase a generator, TV, DVD player and cables for lighting. Once we have the equipment the school can run every year or be transferred to another area if needed.
Also In Kenya we have helped to set up a program to help support 150 children which are part of the main church in Kisumu through one of our supporting churches. This was Pastor Mary’s vision which she had started to implement and we were able to share her vision and now it has become a very effective blessing to the children and their families
This same church was also able to help Bishop Zephaniah with his vision to grow crops to help feed the children and families in his church. A well has been drilled, crops have been planted and in a few weeks the corn, beans and ground nuts will be ready for harvest.
With the fighting going on in all areas of Mexico, especially in Juarez where we work with several pastors, it is no longer safe to bring in groups. We have been able to get in much needed food and school supplies etc. through the Mexican pastors that can meet us in El Paso. Our annual Christmas in Juarez project provides over 400 Christmas packets to needy children in several communities.

Our seminary is devoted to the purpose of training already-committed believers for a lifetime of productive service to the Lord Jesus Christ and His Church. Our courses are Bible-centered and our commitment is to provide spiritual growth for ministers, thereby preparing them for the work of the ministry through the power of the Holy Spirit. Equipping the saints to do ministry... Covenant Theological Seminary was founded upon the goal to “equip the saints to do the work of the ministry,” as well as honor and recognize ministers for their labors with the main GOAL to DUPLICATE ourselves and the materials for the training of ministers, just as Jesus commanded us in Matthew 28:19-20, and as did the Apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 2:2 So that the minister would live the message... We believe the quality of preparation for our students is far beyond that of most seminaries mainly because our materials deal with the personal growth of the minister, rather than just knowledge about the ministry, or just the message. In other words, our main objective is to prepare the minister so that he or she would live the message, rather than just preach it. This is the heart of CTS. As part of this process, the accessibility of the curriculum is of utmost importance. Therefore, CTS makes courses available in several ways allowing you to choose the option that works best for you. These options are: On campus classes conducted in Greenville, NC; satellite campuses are located in a variety of locales, (contact us about possible locations near you); Online through our CTSOnline program allowing you to take the courses in a self-paced manner; or for the student who is not as computer saavy, our courses are available through our Distance Learning program.
